Stuck on the pot, but I learned a lot
Yep, it happens, even to you, and today it was my turn. Knowing all our windows were wide open with Claude and his mother right outside, it was out of the question to scream “I need toilet paper!” Plus my entire family was down stairs, and since they pretend to not hear me most of the time there was a 99% chance I’d be screaming “HELP I NEED BUTT WIPE!” a few too many times. So I waited…and waited….and waited. Good thing the TV in my room was in view. It truly was my lucky day because the remote was on the vanity, and in reaching distance – hooray!
Many commercials informed me of important Hollywood details; I learned that Nick from the Young and Restless is dead, John Travolta will be on Oprah “as we have never seen him before”, and the news that made being stuck on the potty worth it - are you ready? Brace yourselves, (I wish I did)…
BOB BARKER IS RETIRING!!
For some reason that tid-bit of info was such a shock my heart skipped a beat, as it did when Bob stopped dying his hair and over-night went platinum grey. This should not be shocking, he couldn’t work forever, inevitably the day would come for him to retire, yet hearing about his farewell show made me feel stressed, and I don’t even watch the Price is Right…EVER! Still knowing Bob is there with the Yodeling Lederhosen Guy, Plinko, and Hole in One game, gave me the reassurance that the sun really will come up tomorrow, and how really, really young (a baby even) I am, because look at that OLD game show dude, he could be my grandpa!
I guess quite a bit of time went by, because when Travis found me stuck on the pot, with the remote, he said “you are STILL on the pot?” Of course I lied and told him “YES! And I have been calling for you FOREVER because I need some freaking toilet paper!” Trav returned with a full pack of T.P. By my calculations it will be a good week or two before I’ll have an update regarding the Bob Barker special, cross your fingers for the remote to be in reaching distance (again). In the meantime, don’t forget to have your pet spayed or neutered.
Uhm…duh, update - I guess the Bob farewell tribute has been going on for a few nights. Lately the only television I’ve been watching is TNT’s Playoff After-show with Charles Barkley. Is Charles wearing eyeliner?

I love the Price IS Right. I have been on the show twice. I really am sad about Bob. He really is old. I hope we won’t hear that he is sick in a few weeks, seems that these old actors retire and we later learn they are dying…or something sad. SOrry not a fun thing to think about.

Nick went down in Victor’s plane. I’m not buying it yet. I read the spoilers, it looks like Josh (who plays Nick) signed a new contract to stay on. Bob is a perve, not anything you need to get up off the pot for.

BTW, I hate people like Claude. Uptight bastards. Sure, it sucks to step in dogshit, but does he have to go so damned ballistic about it?

this pot post was sent to me because my bud thought it was about pot smoking and was confused and by the toliet paper. I have been laughing so hard about the pot I had to tell you that you should have a pic of you stuck on the pot instead of the TP. anything is funny to me right now. it’s late. don’t post my info if I did.
